Yellow Fish Road Community Event
To educate individuals and get them involved in the community, the Yellow Fish Community Event is ideal. This event includes an educational presentation where individuals will paint local storm drains with yellow fish. This is to remind individuals that untreated stormwater can harm the local rivers, streams, lakes, etc. This event will also feature a complimentary breakfast for all who participate. It will take place on June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Aaniin Community Centre. Registration is required so sign up soon.
Markham Village Music Festival
From June 14 to June 15, you will not want to miss this two-day music festival. This is the 42nd year for the Markham Village Music Festival and it has become a favourite for many local residents. Main Street will feature four stages with live music. You can also take your family to Morgan Park to enjoy a carnival, petting zoo, and performers who cater to a younger crowd. Don’t forget to stop by one of the food vendors and indulge in some delicious cuisine.
Markham Diversity Festival

There will be a plethora of activities for individuals of all ages. Young guests can enjoy a drum village, play zone, and musical performances. For all older guests, you don’t want to miss the food village, art exhibits, and the multicultural fashion show.
