Markham Real Estate Sold Statistics During January 2015

• The average sale price in January was $711,078.  Up 8.4% over the same period last year.
• The average sale price to date this year is $711,078.  Up 0.4% over last year’s trend.
• The average time it took for a house to sell was 27 days compared to 31 days last month and 34 days last January.
• There were 189 total sales last month.  Down 10.8% over the same period last year.
• There were 428 new listings last month.  That’s an increase of 17.9% and a sale to new listing ratio of 44.2%
• Last month, the sale to new listing ratio was 95.5%

• The average sold price for detached homes last month was $989,454.
• The average sold price for semi-detached homes last month was $642,228.
• The average sold price for townhomes last month was $661,786.
• The average sold price for condo apartments last month was $348,721.
